06/2026, Acrylic on Canvas, 70 x 50 cm
I started this painting with the lotus in mind, a flower that has always fascinated me. As the national flower of Vietnam, it also felt connected to my own roots. I wanted to approach it less directly and let the form become more open, softer and more abstract. Small lines and marks appear between the layers, almost like traces of petals or movement. Rather than following a clear shape, I allowed the painting to grow more freely and let the lotus become something fluid, personal and changing.
